I love real food, I love organics. I really love the local food movement and cooking with ingredients you grow in your own garden, community garden, source locally, direct from farmers and farmers markets and using anything fresh and in season.
I love food from different cultures, vegetarian food, spices and herbs, healthy food, raw food, seafood, gourmet food, , classics, occasional not quite so healthy goodies your grandmother might have made and always a great chocolate cake! It's all about balance right?!
A love of good food and cooking has always been around me and is very big in my family.
In my family are chef's, professional cooks, amazing home cooks and lots of foodies!
My grandmother was a chef that my mum grew up watching in commercial kitchens, my mum was a professional cook that I grew up watching in commercial kitchens.
To me creating food is an art that shines from your heart. It is as much about colour, smell and sight as it is about flavour and nourishing your body.
As a busy mum I like to create beautiful dishes but I also like quick, easy, tasty and healthy recipes that are all great to make with kids or popular with kids.
You will notice most of my recipes come with my trademark Toddler Tips too!
