Well naughty for us anyway. I let her pick something that is exciting for her to have in her lunchbox, if it's something pretty good anyway (and it usually is with Lily) I might even sneek a piece of choccy cake or chocolate covered strawberries in there to surprise her. She is after all a fantastic little eater and always eats all her veggies and fruit anyway as she loves them.
Well her current favourite thing for a treat at the moment is a peanut butter and jam sandwich on wholemeal bread, something I just cannot put in there, because as a parent you are very aware of being allergy wise all the time, especially at school.
Which is why we were SO very excited to try this product. It is really delicious, has a beautfiul flavour and texture, Lily loved it and even my die hard loving Kraft smooth hubby was taken in by it! And that is no small feat.
As someone who loves to cook too, there are always those recipes you simply cannot always make because of potential allergies and intolerances, especially when you are wanting to take snacks to play dates, play groups and parties for kids, even having kids over for a playdate.
Then when you take in how many people are gluten intolerant too it can be very hard to create food you feel confident everyone can eat, espeially when you are entertaining and no-one wants to make food only some people can eat.
My family is really impressed with the Eskal FreeNut butter and can't wait to do some baking with it and share a recipe very soon! Stay tuned...

BELOW you can find out all about this gorgeously delicious spread! My family might just be addicted!
Eskal FreeNut Butter; the nut free, peanut butter alternative!
For the long standing crunchy versus smooth debate, Eskal FreeNut Butter is available in two irresistible varieties. Both the Crunchy and Smooth options are similar in texture to real peanut butter and are sure to tantalise the whole family’s taste buds. Better still, Eskal FreeNut Butter is high in protein, packed with nutrients and is a healthier option than regular peanut butter, containing only 1.3g of saturated fat per 20g serve.
“Deliciously different, Eskal FreeNut Butter is the ideal replacement for all of your favourite peanut butter recipes – on toast, crackers or in homemade pancake or muffin recipes… why not try making your own Eskal FreeNut Butter cookies?” suggests Ronnie Joss, founder of Trialia Foods, the company that owns the Eskal range.
Recent research shows that in a Western community about 1 in 200 children (0.5%) had a reaction to peanut by 5 years of age. Due to the rise in reported peanut allergies, many Australian schools are officially banning peanuts, indicating a sad end for the old lunch time favourite, peanut butter and jam sandwiches! Now, thanks to Eskal FreeNut Butter, children with and without peanut allergies can enjoy a nutritious, flavoursome spread, without risking themselves or their classmates.
Eskal FreeNut Butter is available in selected Coles and Woolworths stores RRP $5.69 for a 450g jar.
